Are weight loss visits covered by my insurance?

Many patients are surprised to learn that their coverage may include weight loss visits, nutritional counseling and diagnostic testing. To find out about your specific coverage, please call our office. 

How often do I need to be seen?

As with any customized program, it depends on your situation and your specific needs. Most patients are seen once a month.

What can I expect with my first visit?

You can expect to see one of our highly trained health care professionals to meet with you, find out about your needs and to perform a clinical assessment. An evaluation may also entail laboratory testing, EKG, and a segmental body analysis. After your initial visit, a customized plan of care is created along with our recommendations. 

Do I need to come in for every visit?

No. In addition to extended hours and Saturday hours, we also have the capability to perform some of the visits virtually. Speak with your provider about setting up telemedicine visits. 

Do I need to be in this program forever?

No. Our goal is to get our patients on track for a healthier lifestyle and give them a boost to help accelerate their efforts. Most of our patients are in our programs for between three to six months.

What happens after I finish my program?

Graduating from our program is an incredible milestone for many patients, but it is not the finish line. We hope that our patients will continue to implement what they've learned. To that end, we will always be available for support and consultation.

Do I need to use the products you recommend?

No. While we have extensively reviewed an array of products that we feel might be beneficial to our patients, you're not obligated to purchase or use any of these products. 

Are you part of an affiliate program?

Yes. When you use the links in our store, at no cost to you, a small commission may be paid to the practice. A significant portion of those proceeds will be donated to Every Mother Counts, a non-profit organization.
