"I began my weight loss journey during the most difficult time of the year: the holiday season. At that time, I was 8 months postpartum and wasn’t losing enough weight fast enough and I had no idea how to even start on my own. I needed something to help me lose weight but at a safe pace. That’s where Congressional Weight Loss and Wellness came to the rescue. As long as you stick to the plan you will succeed. It’s about eating the right foods, which means reducing carbs and sugars out of your food intake. In the first two weeks, I lost six pounds. Not only did I start to lose weight, but my energy level increased, fatigue decreased, and motivation increased. I was determined to get to my ideal weight. A few months after starting the program, with my increased energy, I started working out, then I moved to walking daily at least 1 mile which increased to 2 miles and sometimes 3 miles. It felt great. I went down two shirt sizes as well as several pant sizes. This was definitely one of the best decisions I ever made for myself. There were times that I felt like giving up but Congressional Weight Loss gave a extra push which made me want to push even further. It was worth it. I ended up losing around 40 pounds before I had to stop because I found out I was pregnant for the 2nd time. Once I am done with this pregnancy I plan on continuing the weight loss journey.
